The Indian community in Nigeria gave the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi a vibrant and heartwarming welcome during his visit to Nigeria.
This is the Prime Minister’s first visit to Nigeria, which is also the first visit by an Indian Prime Minister to Nigeria since 2007.
The Indians are seen cheering their Prime Minister displaying their rich cultural heritage. Modi is seen giving warm handshakes, touching their foreheads and signing autographs for his beloved country people who reside in Nigeria.
He was welcomed by the Minister of the FCT, Nyesom Wike and the newly appointed Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Bianca Ojukwu, upon arrival.

President Bola Tinubu and other government officials received Modi and his entourage to the country’s seat of power.
