Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane has told Gareth Bale he can’t rely on him, it has been revealed.

Okdiario says Zidane informed Bale of his decision in a face-to-face meeting.

Indeed, Zidane now regards James Rodriguez ahead of the Welshman in his selection pecking order.

Bale hasn’t played for Real since the LaLiga restart – and while he has been on the bench for the defeats of Valencia and Real Sociedad, the attacker hasn’t even been seen warming up during both games.

And there’s now claims Zidane has completely discarded Bale as an option for the remainder of the season.

In February,  Zidane said he has ‘no problems’ with Gareth Bale as the Welshman prepared to return to the La Liga for the first time in a month.

Bale has made two appearances so far this year; against Getafe on January 4 and then against Unionistas de Salamanca in the Copa del Rey, where he suffered an ankle sprain.

While he was declared fit soon after, Zidane did not select him.

However, the manager insisted he has no issues with Bale.
